Birders Lens is proud to join fellow Ugandans in celebrating yet another victory on the global stage—Uganda has officially won the bid to host the 9th African Engineering Conference in conjunction with the 11th UNESCO Africa Engineering Week, scheduled for 14th–20th September 2025 at the Speke Resort Convention Centre, Munyonyo, Kampala.
This prestigious event, a collaboration between Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) and the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE), will run under the powerful theme: “Leveraging Engineering Innovations and Technology to Accelerate Africa’s Socio-Economic Transformation.”
The week-long conference promises to be more than just technical discussions. It will be a platform for engineers, educators, and policymakers to share knowledge, tackle Africa’s engineering challenges, and foster meaningful connections. From technical sessions to mentorship programs and networking opportunities, it’s a celebration of progress and Uganda is taking center stage.
