Nature Walk and Birding Experience at Entebbe Botanical Gardens with Deepend Safaris

At Birders Lens, we take pride in forging strong, mutually beneficial partnerships that elevate the birding and ecotourism experience in Uganda and East Africa. We recently had the distinct honor of leading a nature walk and birding activity at the scenic Entebbe Botanical Gardens, guiding clients from Deepend Safaris, one of our esteemed collaborative partners.

This excursion was a testament to the power of collaboration and the shared mission of delivering high-quality, immersive nature experiences. The Entebbe Botanical Gardens, with its blend of mature tropical vegetation and rich birdlife, provided the perfect backdrop. From the iconic African Grey Parrot and Great Blue Turaco to a chorus of sunbirds, we were privileged to showcase a wide variety of avian species to our guests—many of whom were first-time birders, now captivated by the wonder of Uganda’s biodiversity.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Deepend Safaris for entrusting us with their clients. At Birders Lens, trust is a cornerstone of our operation, and we value every opportunity to deliver on our promise of excellence in birding and wildlife tourism.

A special vote of thanks goes to our field team, particularly Alvin Frank Kwizera and Mr. Omuron Brian, whose professionalism, agility, and dedication were critical in making the event a success. Their willingness to step in at the last minute reflects the reliability and passion that define the Birders Lens team.

This event further reinforced our commitment to community-based tourism, capacity building, and delivering exceptional wildlife experiences. We look forward to many more joint initiatives with Deepend Safaris and other like-minded partners who share our vision for sustainable and impactful nature tourism.
