In an inspiring act of compassion and quick response, Mr. Kenneth Onyango, the Marketing Manager of Divine Resort and Spa in Mukono, came to the rescue of a distressed Purple Heron that had been trapped by a fisherman’s hook along the shores of Lake Victoria.

According to Mr. Onyango, the bird was discovered in a weakened state, struggling after attempting to swallow a fish that still had a hook attached.
